I am Maryam Deena, an Indigenous and Muslim freelance writer based in Canada. Writing is a lifelong passion of mine. I both work and volunteer as a writing mentor to help others find or strengthen their written voice. I take an approach that is grounded on being well-informed, accessible, and engaging. As a writer I’ve had the pleasure of working on projects across a variety of genres. My key areas of interest are: health & wellness, parenting, identity, spirituality, and pop culture.
